It was a battling victory for the 49ers, who were without a several players through health issues, including signal-caller Purdy and pass catchers Jennings and Ricky Pearsall
Purdy's stand-in, Jones, battled through a knee injury and arm and leg cramps, connecting on 33 of 49 attempts for 342 yards and two touchdowns
"It came down to which team would prove the toughest team, and in my opinion we were," Jones commented
Standings Impact
The 49ers, who experienced their initial loss of the campaign against the Jacksonville Jaguars last week, improve to four wins and one loss and command the division
